Cost-Effective Radio Recording for MOTOTRBO - Teldio

Teldio’s Radio to Radio recording solution (R2R) allows network administrators to record, log, and playback group calls from the MOTOTRBO™ radio network. The recording and logging of conversations is automatic, completely seamless, and unintrusive to radio users.

R2R captures conversations transmitted between radio users grouped together in a talk group as well as group and private telephone calls made between phone and radio users with the addition of Teldio’s RBX. The application only records voice transmissions so that dead air is never captured.

The information transmitted between radio users can be valuable data for companies looking back on past events, emergency situations, and how customer requests were handled. This application provides the necessary solution for businesses to increase operational accountability, minimize legal liabilities, improve training material, and refine customer service.

Dispatchers can also link multiple agencies or departments with a single touch for even greater flexibility.

Automatic, Intelligent Dispatching of Alarms, Job Tickets, & Notifications - Teldio

Teldio’s Alarm Control System (ACS) is a software-based application that intelligently dispatches emergency and business-critical alarms, work tickets, and notifications. Integrating into building management, machinery, job ticketing software, and third-party network systems, ACS monitors for alarms around the clock.

ACS ensures that the alarm management and notification process is automatic, efficient, and reliable by dispatching notifications to the right person based on the time of day, location, and competency necessary to respond to the task. The closed-loop system pushes alarms to the next suitable person until they are acknowledged, resolved, and closed. By doing so, response times to alarms and emergency events are significantly reduced, workplace efficiency improves, and accountability is enhanced.

ACS filters and transmits alarm notifications via email and text message, as well as text and audio notifications to MOTOTRBO™ radios, Android devices, and mobile phones.

Bridging the Gaps with MOTOTRBO - Rayfield Communications

The c-Bridge provides for a variety of enhancements to single-repeater or IP Site Connect systems. It allows the 15-repeater limit of IP Site Connect to be exceeded, whereby systems can consist of hundreds of repeaters and it can be used to increase the number of satellite receivers that can be installed in an IP Site Connect system with receiver voting. It can also provide interoperability between single repeaters or IP Site Connect systems and non-MOTOTRBO systems, such as analog or P25 systems as well as providing a connection between single repeaters or IP Site Connect systems and older analog dispatch console systems.

Very flexible 'call routing' allows for dynamic bridging between different repeaters and time slots. When used with the PC Voice Dispatch application, the c-Bridge can operate as a gateway for voice communications over an IP network connection into a single MOTOTRBO repeater or an IP Site Connect system. Built-in IP network diagnostics provide an excellent troubleshooting tool for finding problems in the IP networks between repeaters in IP Site Connect systems.

Situational Awareness

Ensure the Well Being of Lone Workers - Teldio

Teldio’s Centralized Lone Worker (CLW) application allows companies to ensure the well-being of their lone workers by periodically checking in. The solution provides employees with a safeguard against unforeseen accidents, and organizations with a means for quick response to these unfortunate situations.

By automatically sending ‘Alive Check’ messages at specific time intervals to confirm workers' well-being, managers are reassured that their employees are safe. If a worker fails to respond to a request within the allocated response time, an emergency alarm is automatically raised on their behalf notifying emergency response personnel. Response personnel receives the CLW alarm directly on their MOTOTRBO™ radio or mobile device, thus ensuring a rapid response.

Real-Time On Premise Indoor & Outdoor Employee Positioning - Teldio

RTLS Indoor and Outdoor Positioning System utilizes both Bluetooth technology and standard GPS to monitor and track the location of employees throughout corporate facilities. Bluetooth beacons are strategically placed throughout indoor facilities, while GPS geo-fencing is used to monitor the outdoor areas such as parking lots, walkways, and entrance roads.

By combining Bluetooth and GPS technology, staff can be located from any position in or around the facility. When leaving a Bluetooth area and going outdoors, the MOTOTRBO™ radio seamlessly switches from pairing with Bluetooth beacons to GPS monitoring. Administrators and dispatchers can quickly locate staff on an easy-to-use interface. When users are indoors, administrators can view their location on the detailed floor plan, or see their position through Open Street Maps when they go outdoors.

RTLS can be used in conjunction with Teldio’s ACS to receive and dispatch personal safety alarms to response teams. Alarm notifications are sent to the best individual(s) based on their schedule, location, and competency, and include the last known location of the distressed worker.

Proactive Motion Detection Based Lone Worker Monitoring - Teldio

Teldio’s Man Down Notifier (MDN) is a cost-effective and potentially lifesaving way of detecting if a worker has suffered a fall or had an accident. Utilizing the radio’s accelerometer to gauge the worker’s movements & vertical position, MDN monitors for a lack of movement, a tilt going beyond the application’s configured parameters, or a combination of both. Should an alarm be triggered, a notification is dispatched to the response groups’ mobile devices with the time and the radio ID or worker’s name.

Teldio recognizes that not all job tasks are completed standing up and MDN’s unique flexible design ensures that employees are proactively monitored without affecting their job performance. Pre-alarm notifications reduce the number of false alarms while ensuring mobile workers are protected. MDN’s intelligent features include an audible pre-alarm, adjustable detection timer, point of reference reset, and temporary sleep mode.

By pairing MDN with Teldio’s Alarm Control System (ACS), alarm notifications are targeted to the right worker based on the time of day, competency, and location. ACS ensures that alarms never go unnoticed. If the primary response group does not receive or acknowledge the MDN alarm, it’s appropriately escalated to the next user until it is acknowledged and resolved. MDN is both reliable and robust, and ready to be integrated into your lone worker policy!
